“ Going back in my 'memories of Texas', I recall living down in Van Horn (1999-2001). I worked as a overnight waitress at your restaurant, but back then, it was called Plateau Restaurant. It had the old saloon-styled wooden chairs with some nice dark wood tables. The older gentleman who ran the restaurant used to have his son, Jeff, bring me up to work every night. I used to get on the CB radio in the kitchen area to broadcast what specials we had. I am thankful that the same building is still there, and that you have a restaurant still going. Good luck to you, sir, for a former waitress of Plateau Restaurant. ”

“ This place is huge although it is yet to be pretty inside. But the good thing is there is an allocation for the shower room and the restrooms are wide. Many trucks and cars can stop here at a time. ”
